Kevin Weddell

is thankful for zip-ties, New Orleans Crawfish Boils, and the IEEE.

On a Monday through Saturday you’ll find me perfecting my patent-pending, single-man 60″-plasma wall-mounting maneuver (the OSHAit! – its a silent ‘A’).  Otherwise I’m neck deep in network cabling, kicking some sense into various A/V components, or chewing a sheet-rock dust sandwich.  I work for a small home automation firm in New Orleans.  My card says “Production Manager”, my schedule says “drive all over New Orleans, fix this, install that, program three of these, and we’d like our water turned into wine too.”

Fortunately GReader is cataloging vast swathes of news and events for me, and this is where you can read about the things you need to know about:  bleeding-edge technology and how to integrate it into a home your grandparents might have owned, fine literature and middling sci-fi, etymology, endemiology, and entomology, frisbees and bear-dogs, and a fair-few other things as well.
